Visa
For most European citizens, an identity card valid 6 months after the return date is sufficient to travel to Egypt. You will need 2 passport photos, and 25 € for the Visa.
With a passport valid 6 months after your return date, simply allow 25 € for the Visa.
Vaccinations:
No special vaccinations are required to travel to Egypt.

The local currency is the Egyptian pound

Climate:
Egypt offers sunny skies and warm temperatures all year round. Don't forget to protect yourself from the sun and drink at least 3 times more water than usual to keep yourself well hydrated.
Between November and April it is strongly recommended to bring a sweater in your luggage! Evenings can be cool during this period.

Insurance:
